NLR 35, Central 21 | 9.27.19

North Little Rock defeats Little Rock Central 35-21. Central got off to a fast start, driving the ball inside the NLR 5 yard line, but NLR’s defense forces the turnover on 4th and goal.

After the first stalled drive, it took Central almost all of the first half to find any momentum. It was all NLR and a strong running game. Central fought back to only be down 1 touchdown, 21-28,  thanks in part to a long run to end the first half on 4th and 9.

The second half was a different story. NLR took advantage of two early Central turnovers and never looked back.

NLR will face Conway at home next week and Central travels to Ft. Smith Northside.
